BRAZIL looking good!
I thought that Chile would have a chance to disturb Brazilm but was I wrong! Brazil played their best game so far during this World Cup and never gave Chile real a chance. Brasils defensive has been strong throughout the World Cup, they probably have the best defensive in this World, they give away almost no scoring opportunities at all. Brasils offensive looked much improved agains Chile. Holland does not play their old style of footbal apart from Robben they look rather static. I think it’s very hard to resist the 1.90 that is offered on a victory for Brasil.
Uruguay is quite clear favorite against Ghana and in my mind that questionable. Although Uruguay has impressed some what the were in serious difficulties agianst South Korea. Ghana progressed from a tough group and played a good game against the USA. Ghana looks very inspired and motivated and it may be time for the first African team in a World Cup to reach a semifinal. A bet on Ghana to win at over four times the money is a good bet!
The most exciting quarter-final in advance, in my mind, is Germany vs Argentina. Argentina has been impressive but to be honest I dont think that they have been really tested this far. Last game they more or less got the game handed to them by the referee when they "got" the so important first goal on an obivious offside. The question is how will Argentina react under pressure.
Germany has also been lucky with the rulings, the match against England could had a different outcome if the 2-2 goal had been seen by the referees. . For me this game is completely wide open and you should probably refrain to bet on the winner in this game. However, there is a possible bet avialable for this game, the bet is over 2.5 goals in the match and it pays 1.95 pays. Argentina will attack and the Germans are ruthless on the counter-attack. I think there will be plenty of goals in this one!
The last match is Spain against Paraguay. Spain finally got their game going when Torres gave substituted for Llorente. Spain impressed on me in the last 30 minutes against Portugal and there was little glimpse of the Spian we know from the Euro2008. Villa is in fantstic form at the moment and can and will score! Paraguay are strong defensively but with out edge up front. Paraguay has only managed to make three goals in four matches at this World Cup and that against relatively weak teams such as New Zealand, Slovakia and Japan. I can not see Paraguay withstand the offensive from Spain. Furthermore, I think that Paraguay is already quite satisfied with what they have achieved so far. having. I think that this could a good bank at 1, 45!
